Fivos Avgerinos

Designer, Coder, Maker

Fivos Avgerinos is a London based multidisciplinary designer, coder, and maker with over 5 years experience crafting mindful interactive experiences. Although he mostly does web design, he is equally interested in using art and design as tools to speculate on a more sustainable future. He tries to implement low-tech principles in his work to contribute towards the reduction of the digital industry's ecological footprint.

In December 2018 he graduated with a distinction from the MA Design: Expanded Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London, focusing on Spaces and Participation. Alongside his MA, he worked at Studio INI, assisting the prototyping of Disobedience: the 2018 London Design Biennale centrepiece installation at Somerset House. He also assisted Forensic Architecture on Pavlos Fyssas' murder investigation. Prior to that, he worked for two years as Lead UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer at Longaccess, a technology startup based in Athens, Greece. He has also been freelancing for a number of years, taking on various web and graphic design projects.
